Instead of a traditional annual meeting this year, ÍSOR invited welcome guests to an open house at the new headquarters at Urðarhvarf 8 in Kópavogur. ÍSOR's chair of the board, Þórdís Ingadóttir, and CEO, Árni Magnússon, presented the main key figures and projects of the past year to the Minister of the Environment, Energy and Climate, Guðlaugur Þór Þórðarson. https://isor.is/um-isor/arsyfirlit/

The positive development in operations and the importance of ÍSOR's knowledge for the Icelandic authorities' journey in energy matters for the future were discussed. On this occasion a new ÍSOR website (www.isor.is) was launched, and there one can find, among other things, two new web viewers:

ÍSOR's staff welcome everyone to come say hello to us, both to chat in a cosy office space or to look at the new specialised chemistry laboratory. The facilities of the GRÓ Geothermal Training Program are also on the 4th floor, and there is life and bustle there, especially when the 6-month courses are under way.
