ÍSOR, which in addition to its diverse operations in Iceland provides scientific and technical consultancy in the field of geosciences on the international market, and AGEN (Arctic Green Engineering Services), an international consultancy company based in Hungary in the fields of geosciences, engineering, technical services and innovation, have decided to join forces in their services within the geothermal industry, with an emphasis on Europe.

The leaders of the two companies believe that their collaboration, which involves competent and experienced consultancy services, can support companies and governments in Europe in making further use of their geothermal resources.

At the geothermal conference Budapest Geothermal Summit, which was held in Budapest on 26 September, Árni Magnússon, CEO of ÍSOR, and Gábor Molnár, managing director of AGEN, signed a declaration to that effect.

Both companies have decades of experience in both geosciences and engineering within the geothermal industry, and the industry should benefit from their combined knowledge.

The collaboration has already secured projects that will begin in the coming weeks.
