In light of increasing activity, ÍSOR is looking for an ambitious individual for the position of technician in borehole logging.

Main tasks:

• Borehole logging
• Carry out maintenance, repairs, development and improvements of equipment related to the operation of borehole logging
• Oversee testing and calibration of instruments in accordance with defined quality procedures
• Oversee ÍSOR's vehicles
• Purchasing and communication with suppliers

Education and competency requirements:

• Vocational or technical education or comparable education or experience that is useful in the job
• It is desirable that the person has experience in equipment maintenance
• A larger driving license (meirapróf) and a heavy machinery operator's license are desirable
• Initiative and disciplined working practices
• Skill in interpersonal relations

This is a 100% position at ÍSOR in Kópavogur. The job may involve work in the countryside, abroad, and long working days at times.
