Today ÍSOR launched a series of events under the name ÍSORÐ.
On this platform, which takes place online, matters relating to the institution's field of activity will be addressed regularly.
The first ÍSORÐ dealt with the lecture by Auður Agla Óladóttir and Steinunn Hauksdóttir on "Geothermal exploration in 'cold' areas".
Attendance at the event was good and interesting discussions arose in the wake of the lecture, where, among other things, it was suggested that perhaps we should not speak of cold areas, but rather much more of interesting ones.
