Increased geothermal activity has been noticed beneath the national road in Hveradalabrekka by Skíðaskálinn in Hveradalir. Because of ÍSOR's expertise and experience in mapping geothermal energy and experience in environmental monitoring, we were engaged to provide consultancy for the Icelandic Road Administration (Vegagerðin), which is now keeping a close watch on the condition of the road.
